Well, again it had been a very long time since I last wrote, so I will give the updates that I can think of.

* I graduated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I now have my Bachelor of Science in Psychology.  I will be going back to get my Masters in School Psychology in a few years.  I want a life right now.  It is so great to be done and have my weekends free without having to do something for school!!!!!!  I am so excited!!!!  With this I am now trying to find a full time job to pass my time.  I am not looking for anything great, just something.  I can't use my degree until I get my Masters, so that is a bummer.

* Michael was working as a temp at Nike and this week was offered a position that they actually created for him to be able to stay, so that is very exciting and a HUGE blessing!!!  God is SOOO good to us!!!  This position is more money with GREAT benefits!!  He will have to travel to Asia once or twice a year, but that is ok!!  Maybe I will be able to go with him sometime. 

* My health is about the same, but now that we will have insurance again and can start back up with some new doctors and figure everything out.  I am very excited to get back to healthy.  I have been working out almost every day and I am slowly reaching my goal.  My dumb medicine made me gain weight like crazy and that is never fun, but one day I will get there!!!!!

* We will soon be a two car family!!!!  I can't wait!  After three years of one car, it will be nice to come and go without having to try to figure out who will take the car and how we can get everything done.  We don't know what to get, but I will just be excited to have wheels!!!

* Because of  Michael's new job we will be putting out house up for sell next year.  I will be sad to say goodbye to our first house, but it will be nice to have something new that we will start a family in. 

Well, I think that is it!!!!  God has been so great to us and I am so excited to see Him work this next year!!  We will now be planning our trip to Italy for March (hopefully) and then in September we will be going to Hawaii with my parents (who bought a condo there) and Matt and Jessica!!!  I am really looking forward to that!!!!

Well, it has been a VERY long time since I wrote last.  Well, here are some of the updates. 

* I had a great birthday.  We had friends and family over for a great time.  I love hanging out with friends.  Here are some pictures:

* We had an addition to our family.  Ian Torres Nordlund was born on July 1st.  He is very cute.  Here are some pictures of the proud aunt and uncle and our neice Mary-Anne.

* I have been very busy with my last term of school.  I can't wait!!!!!  I will be graduating with my BS in Psychology.  I am very excited.  This term is kicking my butt, but it is all worth it! 

* We are still hoping to be going to Italy in the next couple of months, however do to Michael's new job search, it may be put on hold.  So if not in September, than in March we will go.  I am so excited for that as well.

Well, I think that is about it.  I have been so busy with school that I really don't have much going on in my life right now.  I guuess something fun is we are going to see The Frey again this weekend.  They are a great band!

Yeah, once again it has been a very long time since I wrote.  So let me try to remember what all has happened.  We celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary!  I can't believe it has been two years already!!!  Time goes by so fast!!!  I applied for graduation!  So the end is near!  I only have two more terms!!!!!  Praise the LORD!!!!!!  August 12th cannot come soon enough.  We have really been getting into planning our Italy trip!!  It is only 5 months away!!!!!!!!!  I just want to jump for joy!!!!  Our house is coming along.  We have been painting and decorating and organizing our house!!!  We are also going to be starting our front and back yard soon.  It came with grass and a fence and some trees, but we want to add a bit more.  My health is getting better so that is also a huge plus!!!!  I am just so excited for what God has planned for us this year!!!!  So much is going to happen!!!!  Oh, I got rear ended by a school bus a few weeks ago!  My back is super messed up, but oh well.  Our car is still in the shop.  Who knows when we will get it back.  So I think that is it!  I will leave you with a some facts about me!

Well, it really has been a while since I last wrote.  A lot has happened.  I will try to update as best as I can.

The House:       Our house is really coming together.  We have been painting like crazy, and trying to get everything organized.  It is hard though when most of the stuff we have bought is on back order.  But what can you do?  Then it has been too cold to paint some of my furniture, so that has gone undone as well, but there is only so much you can do.

Holidays:          The holidays were very nice.  For Thanksgiving my family went to SunRiver.  It was very relaxing and so much fun playing in the snow.  It was a nice break to have!!!!!   Christmas we the usual, except we were in our house!!!!  It was so cute, we wrapped a treat for Charlie and video taped him trying to get it out.  It was really funny!!!  Then my very sweet husband went all out for me this year!  I got my wedding band!  I know, about two years late, but well worth it!!!!  He also got me a lot of books and some clothes.  New Years was an adventure!!!  It started out really fun.  Phil, Jenelle, Michael and I went to see The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.  That was a great movie!  Then Matt and Jessica met up with us and had dinner at Sungari Pearl ( I think that is how you spell it), a very nice Chinese restaurant.  After that we were all supposed to go back over to our house, but decided to go over to our friends the Calaways.  We were having a great time, until our friend Mike Sammons ran into the house at 12:05am from calling his dad to tell Michael and I that some punk kid just hit our car and took off.  Michael Calaway ran over to the neighbors who were having a party because his parents were out of town and made them get their friend back.  Well, he came back and all of that was taken care of.  Our car is still in the shop.  I hope to have it back soon!!!!!!

School: I started school back up!  Oh the thrill!!  I only have 7 more classes after this term though, so that isn’t that bad.  There also may be a chance that I can get into grad school sooner than I thought.  There is just a few things a I have to look into, but that would be so wonderful to be done sooner!!!!  For Graduation my husband, the Leonards and the Sammons are all going to Italy for two weeks!    I so cannot wait!  Ever since I could remember I have wanted to Italy, now I will have the chance!!!!!!!  WE have been researching everything and catching up on our Italian that we took about a year ago.

Health:              Well, we still don’t know much.  I go into another doctor on Friday to try and figure some stuff out.  They have moved my diagnosis from Crohn’s to something else.  I don’t feel super comfortable telling everyone at this point, so maybe when we find out more about what is going on and start a treatment program, I can share more.   If you can just pray that I start to feel better soon.  I am still in a lot of pain all the time. 

Well, I think that is about it!  I know there is more, but I don’t want to bore anyone! 

Oh, one thing!  I just want to say how great God is!!!!!  I have been physically, emotionally, and mentally depressed and hurting and God knows when to bring someone into a person’s life to uplift them and bring them comfort and I just really want to thank Him for that!  The other day, I ended up hanging out with someone who is going through almost the same thing as myself and being able to talk with someone who knows how I feel, was such a relief!!!!  I know that it was God who orchestrated that meeting, because it wasn’t supposed to be the two of us hanging out.  So if you think that God is not paying attention, just wait, He will show you greater things and bring you up higher then you thought possible.  After that night of talking I slept, really slept!  That is something that I have not done in over a year!  God brought me peace through a friend!  I just wanted to share!

My test went well yesterday.  It is Crohn’s, but a mild case which is good.  I will have to be on an anti-inflammatory for the rest of my life, but oh well.  They also did find some abnormalities in my Lymph nodes, colon, and small intestine, so they took some biopsies and we will have the test results in a week or two.  My white blood cell count was off, so they have to check that as well.  But it all could just be a result of Crohn’s.  I now have to start the process of finding out what foods I should stay away from.  This is the not so fun part!!!

I do feel relief that after four years of testing and trying to figure out what is wrong with me, we finally have an answer!!  I know that God is good!!  He is my Healer, Comforter and Provider!!  NOTHING is too great for Him and in that I rejoice!!!  I know that He has a plan for my life and I am believing Him when he said in Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”   I have hope and I have faith that God will let His will for my life be made!  I do not fear and I trust in Him alone!!  If my tests do come back positive for cancer I will rejoice because in some way that I am not aware of, God will use that for His glory and His plan will be fulfilled!!  He is the true healer and by His stripes I am made clean and WILL be healed one way or another!!!!!!

Thank you everyone for your prayers!!  I have felt a total peace about all of this!!!  Also, thank you for the book recommendations.  I am trying to read it in the midst of all that is going on!!

On a really good note, we finally moved into our house last weekend!!!!  I am so happy to be home!!!  I also painted my kitchen and I am moving forward in everything!!!  It is a huge process in getting this organized, but it is all coming along!!!!  One sad this is our fridge in on special order and should be here in about 15-20 days!!  So we are living with a cooler!!  It will all work out though!!!!
